I work with business leaders, leadership teams and organisations to understand and improve the human dynamics affecting performance.
Because when people do better personally, businesses do better financially.
Performance can be undermined by:
My work sits at the intersection of people, performance, leadership and strategy.
And sometimes you simply know:
Together, we work out what is really going on underneath the presenting problem — and what needs to change.
That may involve one leader, a relationship between two people, a leadership team, a department, or a broader organisational challenge.
My work draws on:
It helps us understand not simply what somebody does, but what may be driving the behaviour underneath it.
Used strategically, it can help teams:
The same highly capable person can show up very differently depending on their level of stress. Under pressure we can become more reactive, rigid, defensive, avoidant, controlling, scattered, withdrawn or overwhelmed.
That affects:
This is where my Nervous System Literacy and Stress GPS work becomes especially valuable.
Together, they create far more useful insight into how people can lead, communicate and perform better.
A strategic thinking partnership for CEOs, executives and HR leaders navigating complex people, leadership or organisational challenges.
Helping leadership teams improve alignment, communication, trust, decision-making and the way they work together.
One-to-one work with leaders around leadership effectiveness, people challenges, decision-making, stress, relationships, transitions and performance.
Individual and team Enneagram discovery, translated into practical leadership and workplace strategy.
Helping leaders and teams understand their unique stress patterns and develop healthier, more effective responses under pressure.
Targeted interventions where communication, conflict, relationships or team dynamics are getting in the way of performance.
Engaging, practical sessions designed around the real people challenges facing your organisation.
My approach is not built only from coaching theory.
I have founded and run businesses, worked at board level and served as a CEO. I have spent more than 25 years in leadership and business environments and hold two business degrees, including a BCom Honours cum laude.
Alongside this, I have trained extensively in coaching, leadership, personality, relationships, stress and human behaviour.
So I understand the commercial realities leaders operate within.
In fact, the two are inseparable.
Understanding how to lead and navigate humans is not peripheral to business strategy.
A first conversation is about understanding the challenge — not selling you a programme.
